Rooted Counseling LLC
Welcome to Rooted Counseling!
I'm so happy you're here! Rooted Counseling really came from the question of "how can we move through this world authentically and fully without being truly rooted in who we are? I believe that existing in this world holds the same complexities and intricacies found within the existence of a Banyan tree. A tree whose roots and branches find infinite ways to twist and turn and weave together to create one, grounded, rooted, force of wonder. My goal is spend some time together to discover the infinite complexities that make you a rooted force of wonder.
Land Acknowledgement
I’d like to acknowledge the places and spaces that held myself and others for thousands of years. I’d like to bring in the presence of the lands that first revealed a sense of belonging for me, land of the Monacan Indian Nation in the western part of Virginia. Their home for 10,00 years nestled between the Rappahannock and James Rivers. And I’d like to bring in this land that has held me through this most recent chapter of my existence, land of the Cowlitz and the Clackamas in Southeast Portland. With immense gratitude, I honor them as the past, present, and future stewards of these lands.
For my part in occupying these lands, I dedicate a portion of my monthly profits to these two incredible Native led organizations. It's not much, but it's a start. Please visit their pages to learn more about them.

"It is a political framework that allows us to deepen our relationships across the field of organizing movements working towards true collective liberation. It allows us to envision a world where Black, Indigenous & POC liberation co-exists. It is our political, organizing and narrative framework from which we do the work."
